About Us

The SA First Aid League (SAFAL) is an independent, non-profit organisation.

The South African First Aid League (SAFAL) was established in April 1935 with the purpose of providing first aid training to the community at large. This service was extended to include provision of first aid assistance at sport and other community activities.

Our Mission

Event Assistance

To provide first aid assistance at events.

Information to public

To provide relevant and latest first aid assistance information to the public.

Training

To train first aiders according to the guidelines laid down by the Department of Labour, the HWSETA and the Resuscitation Council of South.

First aid skills

To ensure that first aid skills are laid down and practised.

Provide First Aid Kits

To provide a variety of Regulation 7 first aid kits (bags and boxes).

Our Vision
